Hello and welcome! My name is Jenny Mai, and I’m a second-generation Vietnamese-Australian mum. The start of 2025 has brought big changes for me – a journey filled with learning, growth, and exciting new challenges.

Since I’m committed to passing on the Vietnamese language to my children, I’ve dived into the world of self-publishing on Amazon, building websites, and managing Instagram and YouTube channels – and through it all, I’ve been pushed to grow in ways I never imagined. The learning never stops – every week brings fresh insights and new skills.

Why did I start creating Vietnamese-English books? This passion comes from my own childhood – growing up immersed in the language through reading, writing, and speaking with my grandma, parents, and younger sister, watching countless dramas, reading many newspapers in Vietnamese and now being able to communicate in my own language with other Vietnamese people. I believe bilingualism opens doors to endless opportunities and enriches lives in countless ways.

That’s why I’m dedicated to providing families with content that nurture children’s ability to read, write, and speak Vietnamese while also celebrating the rich traditions and culture behind the language. Though my background is rooted in the southern Vietnamese dialect, I include helpful notes on the northern dialect whenever possible—so every learner feels supported and welcomed.

My mission is simple: to help little ones, as well as parents, embrace the Vietnamese language and culture with confidence and enthusiasm.
