As a second-generation Vietnamese-Australian mum, I’m deeply committed to teaching my children the Vietnamese language. My passion comes from my own childhood experiences – learning the language from a young age and practicing reading, writing, and speaking with my family, including my grandma, parents, and younger sister. I believe that knowing a second language brings lifelong benefits. That’s why I’m dedicated to supporting young children and their parents on their learning journey by providing resources that help children read, write, and speak Vietnamese with confidence – while also embracing the traditions and culture that make it so special. My background is in the southern Vietnamese dialect, but I include notes on the northern dialect wherever possible so all learners can feel supported.
